Amitabh Bachchan’s Funny Tweet On Blue Tick: Big B Wants Back

The comedian Amitabh Bachchan tweeted on Friday that he has paid his Twitter Blue subscription costs and asked for the return of his blue tick.

He requested that Twitter “listen to him” in a tweet written in the Awadhi language, which is spoken in Prayagraj and the surrounding areas.

Following Twitter’s removal of the verified check from accounts that did not pay for its monthly membership service, Mr. Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, and a number of other Bollywood stars lost their status as verified users. As Twitter CEO Elon Musk had specified, the removal started on Thursday.

“T 4623 – Twitter, hey! Do you hear me? In order for people to recognize me as Amitabh Bachchan and understand that I have paid for the membership service, kindly put the blue lotus in front of my name once again.

The tweet went viral on the microblogging site, and users responded with amusing comments. One user wrote, “Blue Tick is the result of patience.” Another person added, “Wait for 3, 4, days.”

Elon Musk is a foreigner who never pays attention to anyone, Mr. Bachchan. You’ll have to wait a few days, said a third user.

Politicians like Yogi Adityanath, Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi, cricketers Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, and others have also lost their verified blue ticks from their Twitter accounts as a result of the most recent event.

In order to make it easier for users to tell which accounts “of public interest” on Twitter are legitimate and which are fake or parody accounts, Twitter originally launched the blue check mark system in 2009.
