American Idol Top 10 : After missing an episode due to the Oscars last week, American Idol is back and ready to reveal its Season 19 top ten.

Who is in the Top 10 on ‘American Idol’ in 2021, and What Are They Singing on Disney Night?

After a trip around Walt Disney World, the nine contestants who have already advanced to the next stage will be joined by the winner of the comeback twist, and they will all perform some of the Mouse House’s biggest classics.

Who are the top ten finalists for American Idol 2021?

So far, nine of the Top 10 contestants for Season 19 of American Idol have been revealed. They are as follows:

  • Grace Kinstler, 20, is a 20-year-old woman from Chicago, Illinois.
  • Caleb Kennedy, of Roebuck, South Carolina, is 16 years old.
  • Hunter Metts, a 22-year-old Franklin, Tennessee resident.
  • Chayce Beckham is a 24-year-old Californian from Apple Valley.
  • Alyssa Wray, of Perryville, Kentucky, is 18 years old.
  • Deshawn Goncalves, a 20-year-old Clevelander.
  • Casey Bishop is a 15-year-old girl from Estero, Florida.
  • Cassandra Coleman, a 24-year-old Columbia, Tennessee resident.
  • Willie Spence, a 21-year-old Douglas, Georgia resident
  • Arthur Gunn , a 24 year old Kathmandu, Nepal

One of the ten candidates that took part in the comeback special on April 19 will join them, all of whom are ex-Season 18 finalists who have been given a second chance.

Fans will be able to vote until April 26 to determine who that is. Cyniah Elise, Nick Merico, Aliana Jester, Franklin Boone, Faith Becnel, Arthur Gunn, DeWayne Crocker Jr., Makayla Phillips, Olivia Ximines, and Louis Knight are among those in the running.

Gunn’s cover of the Goo Goo Dolls’ “Iris” is currently the most watched of any of the comeback performances on YouTube, which bodes well for his chances, especially when combined with the massive fanbase he gained by getting further than any of last year’s second-chance hopefuls.

On Disney night, what are the American Idol candidates singing?

ABC has revealed what the 10 candidates will sing, but not who will be singing what—likely to prevent fans from guessing which person will be returning based on the sort of song they will perform.

The following Disney classics will be performed on American Idol 2021 Disney Night:

  • Cinderella’s “A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes”.
  • Coco’s “Remember Me”.
  • “Real Gone” is a song from the film Cars.
  • Toy Story 2’s “When She Loved Me”.
  • Hercules’ “Go the Distance”.
  • Dumbo’s “Baby Mine”.
  • Pinocchio’s “When You Wish Upon a Star”.
  • Frozen II’s “Into the Unknown”.
  • Tarzan’s “You’ll Be in My Heart”.
  • The Lion King’s “Circle of Life”.

Guest mentor will be John Stamos, star of Disney+’s Big Shot and The Little Mermaid Live. Sofia Carson and Jon Batiste will also be performing, singing “It’s All Right” from Disney’s Soul, for which Batiste won an Oscar this week.

The show’s top seven will be revealed by the end of the episode. For much of the show, Grace Kinstler had the greatest odds to be chosen the eventual winner, but in mid-April, Willie Spence edged ahead of her to become the favourite, with odds of 11/1 (per Gold Derby).

Kinstler is a 13/1 long shot, while Casey Bishop is a 14/1 long shot. 66/1 odds are now in place for whichever comeback candidate makes it back.

Season 19 of American Idol airs on ABC on Sundays and Mondays at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT.
