Demos became interested in acting as an early age. He worked first in construction at his father’s demolition company, Wollongong steelworks and Bondi’s Hotel Ravesis.
When he was 23 years old, he enrolled in an acting class at Screenwise Film & TV Acting School. However, he was afraid his friends would ridicule him so kept it a secret.
