Farscape Cast: Where Are They Now and What Are They Doing?

Farscape Cast was an entertaining sci-fi series from 1999 to 2003 created by Rockne S. O’Bannon and produced by The Jim Henson Company. The show follows John Crichton, an astronaut accidentally transported to an uncharted part of space where he joins forces with alien fugitives on Moya in hopes of finding their way home again.

Along his journey he encounters various enemies, allies, and mysteries while seeking an exit back home.

Farscape Cast  features an eclectic cast of characters – both human and alien alike – brought to life by talented actors and puppeteers. Here, we take a look at some of the main cast members from Farscape and what has happened since they stopped acting on Farscape.

1. Ben Browder as John Crichton | Farscape Cast

Ben Browder stars as John Crichton, the protagonist and narrator of Farscape. John is an IASA astronaut attempting to test their theory that uses gravity as a method for spaceship acceleration when they get pulled through a wormhole and become lost across space and time.

After accidentally killing Bialar Crais’ brother in an accidental killing, he becomes the target of the Peacekeepers – an elite military faction which controls much of the region – who take offense at his actions and become his enemies.

Crichton soon draws the interest of Scorpius, a half-Scarran half-Sebacean hybrid who wants to extract his knowledge of wormholes from Crichton’s brain. Crichton proves himself resourceful and courageous when faced with his situation using Earth-based pop culture references and humor; later forming romantic ties with Aeryn Sun who joins Moya’s crew.

Ben Browder is an American actor best known for his roles on Farscape and Stargate SG-1 where he portrayed Lt. Colonel Cameron Mitchell between 2005 and 2007. Additionally, he co-wrote two episodes of Farscape and one episode of Stargate SG-1 as well as co-writing one episode in each series. Francesca Buller played several characters on Farscape during their five year marriage.

Claudia Black portrays Aeryn Sun, a former Peacekeeper officer who is declared irreversibly contaminated after helping Crichton escape from Crais’ command carrier.

At first reluctant, she joins Moya’s crew, becoming more attached with time despite their cultural differences and personal difficulties; eventually becoming part of Moya’s core group and eventually giving birth to D’Argo Sun-Crichton despite having given birth without incident herself.

Claudia Black is an Australian actress known for her roles in various films and TV shows such as Pitch Black, The Originals, Dresden Files and Containment. Additionally, Claudia is widely recognised for her voiceover work in video games such as Uncharted: Dragon Age Mass Effect and Destiny; she even won multiple awards for playing Aeryn Sun on Farscape!

3. Virginia Hey as Zhaan | Farscape Cast

Virginia Hey portrays Zhaan, a Delvian priestess imprisoned by Moya after killing her lover who betrayed them to Peacekeepers. Zhaan is a powerful plant-based being who can heal others with her touch, perform mind melds and manipulate light energy; additionally she acts as a spiritual and compassionate mentor figure within Moya’s crew, even risking her own life to protect Moya and her companions from an impending bomb blast.

Virginia Hey is an Australian actress best known for her roles in Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, The Living Daylights, E Street and Home and Away. Unfortunately she left Farscape after two seasons due to health concerns caused by its makeup; later pursuing natural health and wellness by creating her own line of perfumes and candles.

4. Anthony Simcoe as Ka D’Argo | Farscape Cast

Anthony Simcoe stars as Ka D’Argo, one of Moya’s original prisoners. He was falsely accused by Sebacean husband’s brother of killing their Sebacean wife; though responsible, this event took place years before he could see Jothee again.

A fierce and honorable fighter with a Qualta Blade which can transform into rifle and has an electrocuting tongue to paralyze his enemies, Ka D’Argo becomes close with Crichton and Chiana before eventually marrying Jool, young Interion scientist.

Anthony Simcoe is a highly accomplished Australian actor who has made appearances in films and TV shows like The Castle, The Secret Life of Us, The Cut, H2O: Just Add Water. In addition to acting, Anthony has experience as both musician and teacher; having taught acting courses at several institutions. Married and father to three children.

5. Gigi Edgley as Chiana | Farscape Cast

Gigi Edgley portrays Chiana, a Nebari runaway who joins Moya’s crew during the first season. Chiana is an independent young woman, having left an oppressive homeworld where emotions were suppressed and any dissident thought-crimes punished; she’s an accomplished thief and acrobat with an ability to sense others emotions as well as flirtatiously engaging others through playful behavior; often getting into mischief due to her reckless and playful personality – romantic relationships include D’Argo, Crichton and Jothee (alongside other characters).

Gigi Edgley is an Australian actress known for her roles in films and television shows like The Secret Life of Us, Rescue: Special Ops, Tricky Business and Hashtag. Obsessed with unlocking their mysteries – which he believes are key to beating Scarrans at war – Scorpius relentlessly pursues Crichton by implanting neural clones of himself into his brain to extract information; this villain will stop at nothing to achieve his goals; even wearing cooling suits to maintain proper body temperatures while operating under extreme stress!

Wayne Pygram is an Australian actor known for his roles in films and TV shows like Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith, Lost, Terra Nova and Home and Away.

Additionally he is an accomplished musician/drummer having played with various bands over his career. Wayne is married with two children.

Farscape features many other cast members who take on recurring or guest roles on the show, including:

• Lani John Tupu voices Pilot, Moya’s symbiotic pilot who oversees its functions.

• Tammy Macintosh plays Jool, an Interion princess resurrected after years in stasis in Season 3.
• Kent McCord portrays Jack Crichton – John’s father and an astronaut – while Francesca Buller appears as various characters including M’Lee Raxil Ro-NA and Akhna.
