Former ‘7th Heaven’ Child Star Lorenzo Brino Dies in Tragic Accident
Lorenzo Brino, a child star on the television show ‘7th Heaven,’ tragically passed away earlier this week after being involved in a fatal car accident at 21 years old.
Lorenzo Brino, a child star from the television show 7th Heaven, tragically passed away after being involved in an early week car accident. He was 21 years old.
According to a press release from the San Bernardino County coroner, young actor Leonard Brino tragically passed away after losing control of his Toyota Camry and hitting a pole on Monday morning. Though Brino was the only occupant in the vehicle, his name hadn’t been publicly announced until now. The accident took place Monday in San Bernardino County but Brino’s identity hadn’t been previously known.
Janet Brino, Lorenzo’s aunt, told TMZ of his passing: “To my dear sweet nephew, your loss left a hole in my heart. God needed another Angel and took you. Please watch over your mom and dad; sisters Mimi, Antonio, Zachary and Nicholas… You have an important job up there.”
A friend of Brino’s also paid tribute to the late actor with a YouTube video.
“From September 21st to March 9th 2020 we were blessed to have Lorenzo Brino’s Beautiful soul in our lives,” the friend wrote in the video’s description. “The amount of people he touched with his character and charm was truly unbelievable. He was an incredibly loyal friend and brother who would always put me first no matter what. Rest In Peace Brother.”
Brino was best known for his role on The WB’s 1996 drama 7th Heaven, where he appeared as one of four infant quadruplets that appeared periodically throughout the show. This 11-season venture starred Stephen Collins, Beverly Mitchell, Jessica Biel and Barry Watson.
Between the third and eleventh seasons of ‘NCIS,’ Lorenzo appeared as Sam Camden in 138 episodes.
