Rosemary Tonga, the beloved girlfriend of Television presenter Nathan Mbawa, tragically passed away at a young age.
According to reports, Nathan Mbawa and Rosemary Tongo became victims of an unfortunate accident on Sunday, February 19th 2023 while traveling together in their car.
Unfortunately their previous moment turned into something tragic as they were tragically struck down at 2 AM at Miles Roundabout on Great North Road as they drove towards Lusaka – Zambia’s capital – before tragically succumbing to their injuries.
Nathan Mbawa tragically passed away while Rosemary was taken to the University Teaching Hospital (UTH), where she succumbed from her injuries.

Who is Rosemary Tonga?
According to reports, Rosemary Tonga and Nathan Mbawa were traveling together when an accident occurred. Both were taken to the hospital, with Nathan being pronounced dead by doctors while Rosemary suffering major injuries that needed further medical care – unfortunately she passed away during treatment.
Her sister Khadija Mumba confirmed her passing on social media; Nathan Mbawa’s uncle Colonel Jeremiah Mbawa also announced her passing publicly.
Nathan Tonga was a well-known journalist in Zambia, and Rosemary Tonga will be laid to rest on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 – 11 days after celebrating her birthday. The families of Nathan and Rosemary are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of their loved ones.
Nathan became a beloved TV host and musician, captivating an audience with his predictions of death on December 23, 2023 via Facebook post. In that post, he stated that the world would wake up without him.
