Dareh Ardashes Gregorian is an American journalist based out of New York who has worked for prominent publications like the New York Post, Daily News and Politico. Early Life and Education

Dareh was born March 24th 1970 in Austin, Texas to Clare Russell and Vartan Gregorian and is their youngest of three sons. His father is an Armenian-American academic who once headed up Carnegie Corporation of New York; while his mother worked at Rubenstein Associates public relations firm representing many influential New Yorkers including Donald Trump.

Dareh graduated from Ethical Culture Fieldston School, a private New York City school, in 1988 before enrolling at Boston University to obtain his Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism and mass communication a year later in 1992.

Dareh began his professional career in 1996 when he joined The New York Post as a reporter and researcher. Soon thereafter he was assigned to cover City Hall where his interest and expertise in political reporting flourished. Dareh would stay with The New York Post until 2002 when he joined their rival publication, The New York Daily News as their City Hall reporter.

Returning to The New York Post in 2004, he covered the 2008 U.S. presidential campaign and other political races. Later that same year he joined Politico as senior reporter covering national politics and the White House; also becoming a political analyst for CNN in 2014.

In 2015, he joined The New York Daily News as its political editor, overseeing coverage of local and national politics. Since 2016, he has also contributed as a reporter to NBC News.

Her Personal Life

Dareh first met Maggie Haberman while working together at The New York Post in 1996, dating for seven years before marrying on November 30th 2003 in a rooftop ceremony in Manhattan. Together they have three children named Max, Miri and Dashielle.

Dareh and Maggie are well-recognized for their extensive reporting on Donald Trump and his administration, often breaking news stories or providing exclusive details of Trump’s life or politics. While often respected by audiences worldwide, Dareh and Maggie have also received criticism and attacks from Trump himself, who has called them fake news or third rate reporters.
