Donald Trump expresses gratitude to his supporters in Florida memorial day through boat parade

On May 31, the “Official Jupiter Memorial Day Patriots Boat Parade” saw a number of vessels cruise over the Intracoastal waterway.

Vessels adorning pro-Trump flags and banners, including those pushing him to run for office again in 2024, can be seen in videos and images from the scene.

In a message released on his website, Trump paid thanks to everyone who took part in the Florida boat procession.

“Wow! Despite the fact that they tried to cancel us, I hear they have thousands and thousands of vessels marching in Jupiter,” Trump stated.

“Everyone seems to be having a blast. On this day, we salute all of those who have served and battled for our wonderful nation. I adore every single one of you!”

The number of boats in the procession was not officially counted, but the organisers, Team Deplorable, predicted the “biggest turnout ever.”

Several pro-Trump boat parades, known as “Trumptillas,” took place across the country in the run-up to the 2020 election.

According to reports, a procession in South Carolina over the Fourth of July weekend may have surpassed the global record, with an estimated 3,417 boats participating.

Last September, the “Great American Boat Parade” on Lake Lanier, Georgia, attracted as many as 4,000 boats, according to officials.

The largest boat parade in history took place in Terengganu, Malaysia, on September 13, 2014, according to Guinness World Records.

However, Guinness World Records previously told Newsweek that “politically oriented” activities are not eligible for official records, therefore neither of the pro-Trump rallies could be considered the largest boat parade of all time.

“Guinness World Records is apolitical,” a spokeswoman explained, “committed to maintain the integrity of our records by remaining politically impartial.”

“As a result, we do not accept record applications that are politically driven or seek to forward a political goal,” says the statement.

In a Memorial Day statement, Trump honoured the “fallen warriors who gave their final breaths in defence of our Nation, our families, our citizens, and our cherished freedoms.”

“In human history, no one has ever matched the depth of their dedication, the tenacity of their resolve, or the purity of their patriotism.”

“They faced down our foes and offered their lives so that America might triumph on distant battlefields, far-off oceans, and high in the skies above,” Trump added.

“They paid the ultimate price so that our people may live in peace and our country could prosper.” We can continue our pursuit of America’s beautiful future as a united nation because of their valour.

“These peerless heroes are responsible for everything we are and want to become.” Their memories will live on in perpetuity, as will their legacy. We will always be faithful to them and their families.”
