Stream Jujutsu Kaisen 0 Film may now be streamed in India on Amazon Prime Video, nearly five months after it first debuted in Indian theaters. Despite the fact that the movie had previously been made available to stream on websites like Crunchyroll, Funimation, and Netflix, none of those services offered it in India.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 was initially released by TOHO Animation in Japan on December 24, 2021, and quickly rose to the position of highest-grossing anime movie at the country’s box office that year. It later rose to the position of eighth highest-grossing anime movie in Japan and the 14th highest-grossing movie in Japanese box office history.
After its September 2022 release, One Piece Film: Red overtook the movie in terms of popularity.
The MAPPA film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is currently viewable on Amazon Prime Video in India with Japanese audio and multiple language subtitle options, including English, Indonesian, Thai, Vietnamese, and Chinese.
The film was made available for OTT platforms all around the world, however it had not yet made its Indian streaming debut.
On June 30, 2022, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 premiered in India. In just one weekend, it made over 5.4 crores.
Regarding its revenue in Japan, the film was able to bring in a total of 13.75 billion yen, or roughly US$108.1 million. On May 29, the film ultimately came to an end after selling 9.80 million tickets in Japanese theaters.
The movie managed to earn the 14th-highest box office revenue in Japan, but with the September release of One Piece Film Red, it fell to the 15th spot. It even succeeded in surpassing Evangelion: 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon A Time to become the highest-grossing movie in Japan in 2021.
Although the events in Jujutsu Kaisen 0 occur before those in the first season of the anime, it can be considered a prequel film.
Yuta Okkotsu, a young boy in the novel, sees his childhood sweetheart Rika Orimoto die in a car accident. Rika has been following Yuta as a cursed ghost ever since the incident because she wants to be with him forever and is his real love.
He wants to terminate his life, but her love is only making things worse for him. Fortunately for Yuta, Satoru Gojo, the most powerful sorcerer, notices him and decides to take him to Jujutsu High, where he resolves to break Rika’s curse.
