Padstow Bookseller, a little bookshop in their home village of Padstow, Cornwall, is her co-owner.
When Rick was on a book tour in Australia, he met Sarah, who was then his Australian publicist.

Jill notoriously slapped Sarah and then Rick around the face when she first caught her husband with his lover.
Do Rick Stein and Sarah Stein have children?
With his first wife, Jill, Stein has three sons: Edward, Jack, and Charles, all of whom work for their father’s company.
Edward, the eldest, is a sculptor who currently assists his mother with interior design. He worked on the Winchester restaurant and the Cornish Arms’ renovations.
Chef Director of the Stein restaurants’ meals is Jack Stein. After travelling the world to study as a chef, he secured the job and is now teaching his own cooking classes at Rick Stein’s Cookery School.
Charles is one of the co-founders of Vintners, a wine store in west London that currently serves his father’s restaurants.
They weren’t always helpful, though.
“We were a dreadful set of kids,” Jack told the Guardian.
“We used to light things on fire and stuff like that.” My older brother seemed to have an endless supply of gasoline.”
