Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who is the king of Box Office is back with another content oriented movie. Padman also has the star cast of actresses Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte. The much-anticipated trailer for the feature film is out, and it only proves that only actor Akshay Kumar has the guts to address such sensitive subject. The trailer for the movie starts with the superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s narration on how the USA might have superheroes, but India has Padman, the role acted by Akshay Kumar.

Akshay is the only superhero who wants no wings or a unique power to change the world. Akshay Kumar’s movie Padman does everything to make sanitary napkins for the women, and before anyone, he tries on himself. He also goes to his sisters and wife to share his idea of making clean towels. However, they feel embarrassed about the same. Actress Radhika Apte, who plays his wife in the movie, leaves him over the same. Later, actress Sonam Kapoor, who plays the social worker in the feature film joins actor Akshay to execute his idea.

Story of the film

The Film Padman based on the actress Twinkle Khanna’s book called The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad, which inspired the life of the Arunachalam Muruganantham. It is about the Tamil Nadu-based social activist namely Arunachalam Muruganantham, who has revolutionized the concept of menstrual hygiene in rural India by creating a low-cost sanitary napkins machine.
