Tributes have been pouring in on social media after a two-car collision that claimed the lives of two people on Pine Swamp Road near West Wrentham Road in Cumberland, Rhode Island, on Monday, February 13th, 2023.

Since Sara Laboissonniere and Olga Millette’s identities were confirmed, their friends and family members are taking to social media to pay them tributes and offer deep condolences to the family members grieving the loss of a beloved member in this tragic accident.
A press release issued by Cumberland Police Department reads, “On Monday, February 13th 2023 at approximately 9AM by Cumberland Police, Fire & Emergency Medical Services was dispatched to 210 Pine Swamp Road for an auto collision resulting in two fatalities.
We can confirm that both victims have been identified as Sara J. Laboissonniere from Cumberland (25)”.
Why Did Olga Millette and Sara Laboissonniere Pass Away?
According to the press release, Olga Milette, 57 years old and originally of Blackstone, MA, now resides in Woonsocket.
Although neither her family nor friends shared many details regarding what transpired that day, these two women tragically died from an unknown accident.
According to Cumberland Police Chief Matthew Benson, Emergency Personnel arrived on Pine Swamp Road around 11 PM Monday.
What happened to Olga Millette And Sara Laboissonniere?
In a press release issued Tuesday morning, Benson stated that investigators believe Laboissonniere died due to another vehicle fleeing the scene of an apparent hit-and-run incident.
Witnesses to the accident reported seeing two cars traveling at high speeds when one abruptly entered another lane and collided with Laboissonniere’s vehicle. Tragically, both drivers were declared dead on impact.
Olga Millette’s friend Sandra Goding set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds for funeral and obituary arrangements.
Sadly, their family members lost their beloved; we don’t know details regarding their service or obituary arrangements.
