In 2013, DiMarco played a major role in the independent film In The Can. This American Sign Language Films production. He played the role of Garrett Banducci on the Freeform networks in 2014 and 2015.
DiMarco had been freelance modeling for around a year when he was approached by America’s Next Top Model producers. They didn’t realize he was deaf and scouted him through his social media. He is the only male deaf to win the show’s history.
Soon after winning the contest, DiMarco signed an agreement with Wilhelmina Models located in New York City.
DiMarco was announced on March 8, 2016 as one of the celebrities to compete in season 22 Dancing with the Stars . He was partnered by Peta Mugatroyd, a professional dancer.
