However, CEO Arjun Mehta does not see it simply as a livestreaming service.
He wants the experience to be something that both creators and fans will cherish for a lifetime.
Forerunner Ventures led a $12 million Series A funding round. The company now has the potential to grow into other entertainment and events.
This includes moving into comedy and other genres of music that haven’t had much representation in livestreams.

The startup is backed by Silicon Valley heavyweights like Troy Carter, Scooter Braun and Jack Conte, Patreon CEO Jack Conte, and Kygo’s Palm Tree Crew Investments.
Moment House partners with artists to give them 100% of their ticket and merchandise sales. Moment House also offers meet-and-greet and afterparty upgrades.
They are allowed to make money by selling tickets and merch. Moment House charges a 10% fee.
It has sold more than 1,000,000 tickets in 168 countries, 44 territories and works with artists such as Tame Impala and St. Vincent.
Streaming
Moment House has launched a live streaming platform that connects artists and creators across music, comedy and podcasts with their core fans.
It offers revenue-optimized streaming with add-ons like digital Meet & Greets and Afterparty upgrades.
Already, the platform has sold over 1,000,000 tickets to “moments”, which have featured Justin Bieber, Yungblud and Halsey.
The platform allows creators the freedom to determine their ticket prices, retain 100% of their revenues and charge a 10% service fee for operating costs.
Artists can also monetize their stream with merchandise and other add-ons. Unlike many ticketing companies, Moment House is uniquely artist-friendly.
Forerunner Ventures and IDEO led a funding round of $12 million for the platform. The money will be used to grow its platform and expand into other types of events.
Louis The Child is one of its current customers. He streamed his concert last month on the platform.
The company also has a number of features that help fans interact with each other during live streams, including Clubhouse-like call rooms and breakout chatrooms based on location or sub interest.
The Community
