According to latest reports, KE Kumar was killed in the accident.
Kumar died from injuries sustained while participating in Round 2 at the 2022 MRF Indian National Car Racing Championship.
He was 59 years old at the time of his passing. Many fans and the community have paid tributes to the racer’s family, who are going through a very difficult time.

On social media, a video of the racer circulating. He is seen driving on the track when suddenly he changes to his steering wheel and crashes to the wall.
This led to the death at the Madras International Circuit of veteran racer KE Kumar. There were four cars near him at the time that he crashed to the wall.
They were all heading towards the finish line. The driver was patient and managed everything. It appears that the other car was almost about to be hit by another vehicle.
Unfortunately, KE Kumar was not able to survive the accident and died from injuries.
Many fans have paid tribute to the racer since the incident and are praying for his family, who lost a loved one today.

The racer was stopped immediately after the incident. Kumar was quickly taken from the wreckage and transported to the ambulance. After that, he was transferred to the hospital.
He died from his injuries despite the best efforts of all the doctors. His passing was deeply regretted by the entire MMSC community and racing community.
