Trump’s comments on Twitter came a day after attorney Rudy Giuliani played down the possibility that the president could pardon himself, suggesting he might have that authority but would be unwise to use it.

Pardoning himself would be unthinkable and probably lead to immediate impeachment,” Giuliani, a member of Trump’s legal team, told NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday. “And he does not need to do it, and he’s done nothing wrong.”

On Twitter Monday, Trump said as has been stated by numerous legal scholars, I have the absolute right to PARDON myself, but why would I do that when I have done nothing wrong. He then again decried special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe as a never-ending Witch Hunting.

Trump is later adding that the appointment of the Special Counsel is Unconstitutional. Despite that, we play the game because unlike Democrats have does nothing fault.

Trump’s legal team is doing clear that it will be combating with any effort in forcing the president to testify in front of the grand jury.

Giuliani on Sunday underscoring one of the main arguments in a newly unveiled letter sent by the Trump’s lawyers to Mueller back in January.

The president cannot be given a grand jury subpoena as part of the investigation into foreign meddling in 2016 election.

But Giuliani, in a series of the television interviews, breaks with one of their bolder arguments in the letter that a president cannot have committed obstruction of the justice because he has ultimate authority over any federal investigation.

The former New York City mayor is not on the legal team when the letter is mention, adding that Trump probably does have the power to pardon himself, an assertion challenged by legal scholars.

He says the president’s legal team has not discussed that option, which many observers believe could plunge the nation into a constitutional crisis.

I think the political ramifications would be severe,” Giuliani told ABC’s “This Week. Pardoning other people is one thing, pardoning yourself is tough.”

Trump has issued two unrelated pardons in recent days and discussed others, a move that has interpreting as a possible signal to the allies ensnare in the Russia probe.

The letter is dated on January 29 and addressing to Mueller from John Dowd, who is a Trump’s lawyer and has since resigned from the legal team.

Mueller has requested an interview with the president to determine whether he had criminal intent to obstruct the investigation into his associates’ on the possible links to Russia’s election interference.

Giuliani says Sunday that a decision about an interview will not be made until after Trump’s summit with the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on June 12 in Singapore, and he cast doubt that it will occur at all.

I mean, we are leaning towards not, Giuliani tells ABC. But it looks, if they can convince us that it will brief, it will come to point, there are five or six points they have to clarify, and with that, we can get this long nightmare for American on the public.

In addition to legal battles, Trump’s team and allies have to wake up until a public relations campaign against the Mueller and the Justice Department to discredit the investigation and solve the effect of the special counsel’s potential findings.

Giuliani says in last week that the particular counsel probe might be an entirely illegitimate investigation and need to curtailed because, in his estimation, it was on inappropriately obtaining a piece of information from an informant and Comey’s memos.

In reality, the FBI began a counterintelligence investigation in the year July 2016 to determine if Trump campaign associates were coordinating with Russia to tip the election.

The study was open after the hacks of Democratic emails that the intelligence officials are later formally attributing to Russia.

Trump’s team has to request a brief on the information, but Giuliani says on Sunday that the president will not order the Justice Department to comply because it will negatively affect public opinion.

But he continues to cast doubt on the special counsel’s final findings, suggesting that Trump has already offered explanations for the matters investigate and that special counsel is bias against a Tump.

For every one of these things he does, we write out five reasons why he did it, Giuliani says. The four of them are entirely innocent, and one of them is your assumption that it is a guilty motive, which Trump will deny, you cannot possibly prosecute him.

Trump’s legal team has long pushed the special counsel to narrow the scope of its interview. Giuliani is also suggesting that Trump’s lawyers have incorrect when they deny that the president involved with the letter that explained Donald Trump Junior’s 2016 Trump Tower meeting with Russians who offered damaging information on Democrat Hillary Clinton.

It is the reason you don’t let the president testify, Giuliani told ABC. “Our recollection keeps changing, or we are not even asking the question, and somebody making the assumption.

Trump has not consented to an interview, Mueller will have to decide whether to go forward with a historic grand jury subpoena.

His teams raise the possibility in March of subpoenaing the president, but it is not clear if it is still under the active consideration.

A court battle is likely if Trump’s team argues that the president cannot force to answer questions or charge with obstruction of justice.

President Bill Clinton was accused of obstruction in the year 1998 by the House of the Representatives as part of his impeachment trial.

And one of the articles of impeachment preparing against President Richard Nixon in the year 1974 was for obstruction.

So, these are the points to describe on the Donald Trump says he has ‘absolute right’ to pardon himself in the Russia probe.
