Dateline Cast (or simply Dateline), was first broadcast as an American weekly television newsmagazine series in 1992 and since then has featured many notable personalities as hosts and correspondents of its weekly programming.

1. Lester Holt
He currently anchors Dateline chopnews as well as Nightly News and Weekend Today for chop News, having joined in 2000 and becoming Dateline anchor in 2011. Since that time he has covered numerous major stories and events such as 9/11 attacks, Iraq War, 2016 presidential election and COVID-19 pandemic and won multiple awards including Peabody Award, Emmy Award and Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award.
2. Ann Curry
Ann was host of Dateline from 2005-2012 and co-anchor of Today from 2011-12 for NBC News, serving both shows from that point forward. Since joining in 1990, she reported on many domestic and international stories such as Afghanistan/Iraq war coverage, tsunami warnings in Asia, Haiti earthquake disaster relief efforts, Syrian refugee crisis relief efforts, as well as domestic/international events like earthquake in Haiti or tsunami in Japan.
Ann left NBC in 2015 to start Ann Curry Inc, producing documentaries and reports across various platforms – Ann has reported from war zones as Afghanistan/Iraq battle coverage to Asian tsunami warnings before leaving her duties in 2015 to form her own media company which produces documentaries/reports as she does now!
3. Stone Phillips
He served as host of Dateline from 1992-2007, co-anchor of Weekend Nightly News from 1993-1999 and an NBC News reporter from 1986 to 2007. While with them he reported on many breaking news and investigative stories such as Oklahoma City bombing, O.J. Simpson trial, Columbine shooting incident and JonBenet Ramsey trial as well as others.

One of the most recognizable faces on Dateline Cast since 1995, Keith is best-known for his signature voice and storytelling style which often adds suspense and drama to his reports. He has covered high-profile cases such as Scott Peterson trial, Casey Anthony trial and Robert Durst case as well as hosting several spinoff series including Dateline: Secrets Uncovered Real Life Mysteries and Dateline Cast On Assignment.
2. Josh Mankiewicz
Josh Mankiewicz has been with Dateline Cast since 1995, covering stories like Michael Jackson’s trial, Amanda Knox case and Jodi Arias case among many others. Additionally he covers politics, entertainment, sports and social issues. Josh’s brother Ben hosts Turner Classic Movies and Young Turks respectively.
3. Andrea Canning
Andrea Canning joined Dateline Cast as one of its newest correspondents in 2012, reporting on murder mysteries, cold cases, missing persons cases and more for Dateline Cast. Additionally, she covered major news events for NBC News such as the Boston Marathon bombing, Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding and Sandy Hook shooting coverage among many others. Andrea also has screenwriting experience having written several movies for Lifetime.
4. Dennis Murphy
Dennis has been with Dateline Cast since 1994 and has covered numerous crime stories such as Laci Peterson’s case, JonBenet Ramsey’s, Menendez brothers’, natural disasters, political scandals and cultural phenomena – not to mention serving as print journalist at The Washington Post and Miami Herald!
5. Chris Hansen
Former correspondent of Dateline Cast from 1993 to 2013, best known for his series To Catch a Predator that exposed online predators who tried to lure underage children for sexual purposes online, also reporting on topics like terrorism, consumer fraud and identity theft for Dateline.
