Below are our picks for Amber Heard’s best movies but if we have missed a movie that you have liked, please let us know in the comments below.

1. All the Boys Love Mandy Lane (2006)

Although Jonathan Levine’s first movie is far from his best—he later directed Warm Bodies and Long Shot, both of which are significantly superior to this teen horror—at least it offered Amber Heard the role she needed to advance in her career.

Heard plays the main character, who gets into difficulty at a secluded ranch where she is bullied not just by her peers but also by a killer. The movie is a slasher flick, but it’s smarter and more subversive than some. This movie’s release was postponed due to poor test screenings, but despite what its reputation says, it’s not as dreadful as it seems, thanks in part to the respectable storyline and appropriately gory grindhouse aesthetic.

2. The Joneses (2009)

The Jones family appears to be an ordinary family from the outside. There is a father (David Duchovny), a mother (Demi Moore), a teenage son (Ben Hollingsworth), and a teenage daughter (Amber Heard). They were actually planted by a greedy business to show off their luxurious lifestyle to their neighbors in an effort to get them to part with their hard-earned cash, thus it turns out they are not really a family at all.

It’s really a satire on corporate accountability (or lack thereof), and Heard’s character is far from the wholesome “daughter” that she initially appears to be.

3. The Ward (2010)

Since 1982’s The Thing, director John Carpenter has failed to produce a truly outstanding horror film, but he has continued to work in the genre, producing decent films like this one, which is set in a mental institution.

Kristen, a young woman who is admitted to the hospital after setting fire to an ancient farmhouse, is portrayed by Amber Heard in the lead role. She offers a strong performance as the tenacious resident who battles the paranormal entity harassing the patients. Fans of Carpenter’s work will appreciate this passable little chiller, which is by no means a classic.

It’s his last major motion picture to date, so let’s hope he makes a comeback soon!

4. 3 Days To Kill (2014)

Kevin Costner plays a dying CIA operative who is eager to make amends with his estranged daughter in the lead role in this film. Amber Heard plays a CIA agent who offers him the chance to prolong his life by taking an experimental cancer treatment, but in exchange, she wants him to do one final task.

Although this isn’t the best thriller you’ll ever see, Heard steals a few of Costner’s scenes with her entertainingly quirky performance as Vivi Delay, the woman who offers his character one last chance at redemption.

5. Aquaman (2018)

The Atlantean warrior Princess Mera, played by Amber Heard, travels with Aquaman (Arthur Curry) in his quest to save Atlantis from the evil King Orm. This DCEU film is colorful and upbeat, in contrast to many of the darker comic book adaptations that Zach Snyder has adapted for the big screen.

Heard will make an appearance in the follow-up to this film, but in a smaller capacity (as of this writing! ), supposedly as a result of the recent defamation lawsuit that has hurt her marketability. If you enjoy the actress and this role, you can still be happy that she has a significant amount more screen time in this fun superhero movie.

6. The Rum Diary (2011)

Based on a well-known Hunter S. Thompson novel, this movie follows an alcoholic journalist (Johnny Depp) who falls for the girlfriend of a shady businessman while vacationing in Puerto Rico.

Although it wasn’t a great box office hit, it was Depp’s passion project because he is a lover of Thompson’s work (the actor previously starred in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas). For Heard, who played the character that Depp’s character falls for, it was a huge career breakthrough. In this comedic drama, the performers give excellent performances, but the movie will likely be remembered as the one where the once-happy couple first met.

7. Zombieland (2009)

Even though Amber Heard doesn’t have a significant role in this now-classic comedy, it provided her a chance to shed her image as a lovely girl. Heard put in a fun and loose performance as 406, the zombie who seeks to eat Columbus (Jesse Eisenberg).

She claimed in an interview with Maximo TV that the role wasn’t particularly simple for her and that wearing the zombie prosthetics required a lot of physical effort. She deserves praise for taking on a part that was drastically different from the other characters she has done in her career because she was able to pull it off.

8. Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021)

Even though it is almost 4 hours long, Zack Snyder’s extended cut of Justice League is a much superior film than Joss Whedon’s entertaining but underwhelming version. The spectacular effects were much enhanced, and many of the actors received greater screen time, notably Amber Heard, who returned as Mera, the Queen of Atlantis, and Ray Fisher, who played Cyborg.

Even if Snyder’s film is a bit sloppy in certain spots and is considerably bigger, louder, and darker than Whedon’s, you can’t deny the director’s grandiose ambition. Heard doesn’t have much to do in this one, but at least she wasn’t completely cut out of the movie, as some of her detractors wanted before the movie’s release.

9. Gully (2021)

This futuristic story about a group of kids who go on a drug-fueled rampage around LA wasn’t well received by critics, but I thought it was very good. It features a solid cast, which includes Charlie Plummer, Jonathan Majors, and Terrence Howard, and its violent plot takes on some important subjects.

Although Amber Heard, who plays the mother of one of the adolescents, provides a passable performance, this cast of young up-and-comers manages to leave the strongest impact.

10. Drive Angry (2011)

This bizarre film stars Nicolas Cage as a vengeful father who escapes the depths of Hell in order to seek out the perpetrators of his daughter’s murder and grandchild’s abduction. Despite being the co-star of one of the biggest scene stealers in movie history, Amber Heard joins him on his quest and manages to deliver a memorable performance.

With its stunning vehicle stunts, gratuitous gore scenes, and appropriately odd performances from its talented cast, the film itself is schlocky and entertaining.

11. Her Smell (2018)

I apologize, but I had to include this. Come on, really. After this stunning news article, did “Her Smell”? Such a post practically writes itself. However, Elizabeth Moss truly shines in this film. Worth seeing just for her performance.

Oh, and Amber Heard is also present, similarly bewildered and pretty to how she appeared on the witness stand. But once more, we had to include this humor. Now, when we hear “Her Smell,” certain pictures come to mind.

12. Pineapple Express (2008)

This is the list’s original entry. Why may you ask? Ask someone who witnessed this stoner comedy if they can recall Amber Heard’s part, for example. The typical response is: She was in that? She was, indeed. She also portrayed Seth Rogan’s character’s attractive but foolish high school girlfriend. Yes, in that movie she was a young girl dating an older man.

13. London Fields

In all honesty, this is just the beginning of a larger topic. In several of Amber Heard’s film appearances, she uses her attractiveness to destroy the lives of men. Actually, no. The cast of the thriller London Fields is outstanding. Heard plays Nicola Smith, and a brief watch of the clip might truly give you shivers. Why? Because this figure seems to have a component of her real life. a perilous woman who doesn’t give a damn who she harms.

We won’t give away the conclusion, but it’s worth it to watch how her character handles everything. Oh, and THIS SHOCKING STORY is from this movie. Yikes. Kevin Costner is very poor.

one in which Amber Heard perishes. Actually, she passes away in a handful of these.
