It’s a very suspense crime drama where not only as a policeman but also as a husband and a father of a son he tries to solve the problems in his family too.

5. Asur (Voot)
Asur, which combined the genres of mythological fiction and thriller, enjoyed in its larger-than-life theories. It’s story is quite spectating due to its jaw-dropping thrilling script but the message wasn’t conveyed very well to the audience due to which it finds the 5th spot in this top 10 list.
Cast & Crew: Arshad Warsi (Dhananjay) after a long time who came in as a leading character in this mythological-thriller cum drama series, who did his job excellently. These are the other characters who did a great job – Barun Sobti (Nikhil), Ridhi Dogra (Nusrat) & Vishesh Bansal (Shubh).
Director (s): Creator of this unique mythological-thriller is Gaurav Shukla.
6. Bandish Bandits (Prime Video)
Synopsis: In this modern era of crime-drama web series, Bandish Bandits took all the Indian viewers by complete surprise. It only took a couple of episodes to get fascinated by the environment of classical music that this series created. While the music was a significant part of this show, Bandish Bandits were completely stable when it came to the story of this unique web series. Special appearance of Shankar Ehsaan Loy’s music also took all the audience in trance along with the story of this web series.
Cast & Crew: Indian classical romance between Ritwik Bhowmik (Radhe) & Shreya Chaudhary (Tamanna) is the central focus for all the viewers of this musical cum drama series & then comes the appearance of one of the great actor in Indian theatre Naseeruddin Shah (Pandit Radhe). 7. A Simple Murder (SonyLIV)
This binge-worthy dark comedy came as smooth as butter. This series took a wildly unreasonable approach to its sometimes serious content. For the most part, A Simple Murder was so well done that you couldn’t help but just drop your jaw at its writing and performances.
Cast & Crew: Mohammad Zeeshan Ayyub, Sushant Singh, Amit Sial, Priya Anand and others, all did a great job in outputting this topsy-turvy story of dark comedy.
Director (s): All kudos to the writers and of course Sachin Pathak (director) because he has this beautiful element of comic timing in him.
8. Panchayat (Prime Video)
A story filled with simplicity, where a typical middle-class guy (Abhishek) who wants to do something for the betterment of his life, gets an opportunity to work and experience in a typical village where the villagers are unfamiliar with Abhishek’s urban lifestyle. It’s a beautiful story where an urban guy and the villagers get to know each other in their own way.
Cast & Crew: Jitendra Kumar who’s in a form in recent years, especially in his last movie Shubh Mangal Saavdhan. Strong casting supported by Raghubir Yadav, Neena Gupta, and Chandan Roy.

9. The Gone Game (Voot)
The Gone Game was filmed with a unique effort by the creators and actors. The show’s usage of technology, in terms of Zoom calls, text messages, was exemplary and in my opinion, better than many shows that are made with all the resources at hand. However, Gone Game wasn’t extraordinary in the story department, that’s the reason why Gone Game is in the 9th spot.
Cast & Crew: Shweta Tripathi, Arjun Mathur, Shriya Pilgaonkar & Dibyendu Bhattacharya are some handful of great performers in this web series.
Director (s): Nikhil Bhat
10. Flesh (Eros Now)
Another crime drama series, this one was quite traditional in its approach towards good vs evil where, for a change, where the leading character was a good cop, fighting hard against crime. Flesh was quite good in its representation of human trade, but with it’s a bit poor visual presentation, the show’s in the last spot of this top 10 list.
Cast & Crew: Akshay Oberoi (Taj), Swara Bhaskar (Radha), and many other actors gave their best, in giving a good shape to this crime drama series.
Director (s): Danish Aslam
