The film received a long weekend of positive reviews and added greenbacks to its profits each day. According to some reports, the film earned a staggering 100 crores through worldwide ticket sales.

The film is still to be released in Hindi on the northern circuits, which will increase its overall collection. It grossed a staggering 11.50 crores on its fifth day.

The film has a strong worldwide box office collection, with 100 crores of dollars against a budget of 200 crores. This makes it the second highest-grossing Indian film after Varisu.

The actor had previously appeared in Valimai, which was released in the final year. It earned 234 crores for a budget of 150 million.

The actor has again lit up screens with his heartfelt and stunning performance, which brought a storm to the box office.

Thinuvu was directed by H.Vinoth, and produced by Boney Kapoor under the production banner Bayview Projects LLP. Ajith Kumar is the only actor in the film.

Huma Qureshi and Kartikeya Gummakonda are the other leads.
