Santa Salut Shoots Drill Bars in ‘Self Love’s Latest Advantage

‘Self Love’ is a song that exudes self-assurance and a desire to take on the world -and, of course, anyone who attempts to stop it.

SELF LOVE combines the artist’s mother genre, rap, with the ferocity of drill and the dynamism of g-funk, and is inspired by the streets, the underground, graffiti, and the constant fight to establish a strong self-esteem capable of conquering any obstacle.

HugSound, Juan Galán, and Roots produced the song, which features digital instruments, synths, and basses to complement words that are as forceful as the music. “I feel free, let the city tremble,” Santa Salut declares emphatically, more self-assured than ever.

We’ve included the video for “Self Love” below, as we always do when a new Santa Salut song is published.

Santa Salut’s lyric for “Self Love”

They’ll tell me this is gangsta shite, I’m sure.

Because I rap it on the street without shame.

I’m writing a letter to my pit bull.

I’m wearing diftong skifits, and I transmitted the message to Pandora.

The swing of the breeze is aesthetic.

This is my will, and I want to die happy.

And all of my beliefs lead to the same conclusion:

If you don’t love yourself, you’re lost.

Chula is my signature, and I’m fighting my stigmas with it.

I gently caress the slow-burning fire, yet with panache.

What are you resigning to? I’m not interested in wearing badges.

I want you to enjoy yourself while reading all of my lines.

I’m going to explore the world on my legs.

Only those who love me will be able to see me.

This is self-love, this is self-love, this is self-love, this is self-

If I don’t do my part, it will stay a dream.

In rectification, I see the total.

The wonderful dialogue that I had with myself

Which is more true, my personal affirmation or the affirmation of others?

Each universe is a place where life alters one’s perspective.

And I’ll be a part of it, hey, I’ll be a part of it.

But this isn’t simply a present; it’s a labour of love.

They’re going to nickname me “Silly” because I’m tough like Biggie (uh).

Now (hello), now I bite like a cold and I don’t obey like Siri.

My war has taught me a lot.

What if they don’t make me serve in the military?

up I firmly open every door.

I’m still removing bile, and I’m already feeling better (eh)

I’m feeling free, so I’m going to let the city shake.

More than drifting, I go around the world.

I can’t see the end of the road because it’s so long.

And I’m not using any batteries.

I see that I still have a thousand kilometres to go.

I keep the chair warm.

Yes, I’m still a bit rash.

They inquire as to my whereabouts; evil has taken possession of me.

And my lait motiv is “I don’t know.”

Je I’m not sure why, I’m not sure why.

I’m not sure why, I’m not sure why.

SELF LOVE is also stomping in the audiovisual field, with a video clip showing Sabadell defiantly rapping endlessly in front of the camera, between dim lights, paved scenes, and surrounded by her team, demonstrating her self-esteem and determination in achieving her aims in the film.

Piece by piece, After presenting LA MINIFALDA last month and OASIS before that, Santa Salut is now on his way to DISCORDIA, his next feature. This is his third preview.

The artist will explore three separate worlds, earth, heaven, and hell, blending styles as disparate as neo-ballad and flamenco with rap, in this soon-to-be-released work.
