- Two stars for the truly awesome look. I had RAT9 before for about a year and a half. It worked fine. Then it suddenly stopped tracking. I could not get proper support. Because I bought it outside MadCatz store. Well, I moved shortly before that happened. Thought maybe it simply got damaged during all that state of confusion. Then I had a different, cheaper mouse for a while.
- But now I decided to buy my beloved RAT9 again. Mistake. First off, MadCatz went out of business. Their website does not provide any support. Not even a software download. I found the software somewhere, it provided by a third party. Once downloaded, it did not do a thing. Forget the programming buttons, forget even battery status.
- Then – it started jumping all over the screen. Lost precision and was freezing to the point. That only an off or on or even plug out will only help. I gave it a long try but I am returning it. Getting a decent gaming mouse.
- First of all, this is absolutely the best mouse that I have ever owned from a mechanical design. And it’s almost without limit the customizable fit and feels perspective. However, due to some technical issues with the “power cell” that is battery life. Lack of replacement “power cell” availability. I have to only give it 4 stars.
