His piano trio was composed of Brahms, Mozart, and Bach. When he took home second place at the Leeds International Piano Competition in 1990, he immediately became well-known.

Regarding Lars Vogt’s cause of death, it is known that the pianist had liver cancer for a protracted period of time. In March of last year, Lars Vogt received a liver cancer diagnosis. However, the pianist was unable to overcome his illness and passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022.

A memorial service will reportedly be held for him on September 6, 2022, according to reports. The memorial service for Lars Vogt will be place at Relax and Stars du Classique. Lars Vogt’s official obituary has been published. On Tuesday, France Musique will honour him.
The report claims that almost 200 conductors, including Daniel Harding, Andris Nelsons, Claudio Abbado, Mariss Jansons, Sir Simon Rattle, and Paavo Jarvi, led the German pianist during his career.
