Fortnite Season 4 End : Immediately after Season 3 Ended

Fortnite Season 4 End: Immediately after Season 3 ended on August 27th, but this was partly due to Epic’s recently launched legal dispute with Apple.

Epic wanted to get things moving on time for its Marvel-themed season, despite the fact that Fortnite is no longer updating to the latest version on iOS devices.

This kind of punctuality is uncharacteristic of Epic Games. Unlike Activision, who distributes each new Warzone season immediately, Fortnite takes a long time to release between seasons.

Right now, we’re in week three of this. Week 10 tasks were completed about a month ago, and the third week of overtime challenges was just released this morning.

There’s plenty of XP to be had, and you’ll almost certainly have a few Awakening challenges to complete, not to mention Foil skin designs for your Battle Pass skins.

So a little more time between seasons is generally a good thing—as long as it doesn’t go on for as long as Chapter 2, Season 1, which lasted 128 days.

In my Season 4 Battle Pass, I still have a lot of work to do. For one thing, I need to complete the Iron Man Awakening challenges. I also need to get the Logan Wolverine skin style.

I’m fine with not completing the complete Battle Pass because obtaining every skin style would entail completing far too many tasks (and with the PS5 and Xbox Series X I have too many other things to play).

So the question is: how much time do we have to wrap everything up?

Season 4 will expire on November 30th, according to data miners. However, that is a Monday, and most seasons end on Wednesday and new ones begin on Thursday.

The truth is that we have yet to receive an official response from Epic Games. We have no idea when the huge Galactus live event will take place. But, if I had to guess, the following is what I’d say:

• The Devourer Of Worlds, a Galactus live event, will premiere on November 28th, perhaps in the middle of the day, immediately after Thanksgiving.

It’ll be massive, possibly the biggest live event we’ve ever witnessed.

It will culminate in a special LTM in which participants must use superpowers or other means to defeat Galactus.

• As the event approaches, we should keep our eyes on the sky and the Battle Pass menu, as Galactus will continue to approach and eventually appear in the menu itself.

Keep an eye out on Fortnite’s Twitter for Season 5 teasers.

• The Galactus event will result in some significant map modifications—certainly, items will be broken and destroyed throughout the battle—but not all of the map alterations will be immediately apparent.

Between the live event and the start of Season 5, there will be a pause that will remain until Wednesday night, December 2nd-3rd, when downtime will begin.

• Once the break is finished, Season 5 will begin on December 4th.

The rest of the map updates will be visible, as well as a new Battle Pass and a slew of new gimmicks, objects, and systems to experiment with, as well as a new set of challenges.

• We’ll very certainly find out what the “secret” skin is right quickly, as Epic no longer does that (Wolverine and Aquaman were both blatantly clear, while Deadpool was only slightly less so).

Alas, the days of The Prisoner and other fascinating, hidden skins are long gone).

• I anticipate some type of winter/holiday theme in the upcoming season and Battle Pass, though it’s conceivable Epic will just have a Christmas event rather than a season themed around the holidays.

Now, I could be completely incorrect. Epic Games is known for its proclivity towards procrastination.

I believe the core layout will remain the same, but it is possible that it will be the following week.

For all we know, it may be the following month. I seriously doubt it, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it happened.

Whatever happens, I’ll keep this post updated as new information becomes available, so stay tuned. Thank you for taking the time to read this!
