Prashant Kumar “Fanney Khan (Anil Kapoor), dream was to become a singer but because of unwanted circumstances he became a part-time vocalist in an orchestra. As being a middle-class family person he still has a dream of making his overweight teenage daughter Lata sharma (Pihu Sand) a famous singer. Named her after Lata Mangeshkar.
Lata failed to make an impact on musical show because of her weight. After seeing his daughter failure Fanney Khan plan to kidnap a superstar Baby Singh (Aishwarya Rai) with the help of Adhir (Rajkummar Rao). He will kill Baby if his demand will not be fulfilled. His only demand was Lata to be heard on a music show.
Fanney Khan First Day Box Office Collections are very low but should be best this Friday amongst all new Hindi releases.
Opening screens are 1200 approx. in India. First day box office collection is 2.5 crore which is very poor.
