Jill Casey Black was a child of Troy, Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the College of Charleston.
Casey DeSantis Career in television
DeSantis hosted the Golf Channel programs on The Tee, and PGA Tour Today. DeSantis was also a local newscaster, anchor, and reporter for WJXT.
This independent station is located in Jacksonville. Florida. There were several positions she held, including morning anchor, general assignment reporter and reporter for police. She also did special reporting, including for CNN.
In 2014, DeSantis was a creator-moderator for The Chat, an hour-long round table panel discussion talk show that aired on Tegna’s Jacksonville stations WTLV and WJXX (ABC).
She was the host of the First Coast Living daily talk show and the The American Dream weekly program about entrepreneurs.
DeSantis produced and wrote the television documentary Champions, The JT Townsend Story which featured high school football player J.T. Townsend. She was also awarded a regional Suncoast Emmy Award.

Ron DeSantis was a former naval officer at Naval Station Mayport. She met her on a golf course. They were married in September 2010. DeSantis and her spouse have two daughters, Madison, Mamie, as well as a son, Mason.
Her husband announced on October 4, 2021 that she had been diagnosed as having breast cancer. He announced her cancer-free status on March 3, 2022.
