Adipurush is a Hindu mythological film from India based on the epic Ramayana. Om Raut directed the film, which was produced by T-Series Films and Retrophiles.
Prabhas plays Adipurush, Kriti Sanon plays Sita, and Saif Ali Khan plays Lankesh in the film, which was shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu. One of the most expensive Indian films ever filmed is Adipurush.

The creators announced on September 3 that, with Prabhas portraying Lord Rama, Saif Ali Khan, who previously appeared as a villain in Tanhaji, has been cast in the character of Ravana, dubbed Lankesh.
Following rumours that Anushka Shetty, Anushka Sharma, Kiara Advani, and Keerthy Suresh had been contacted for the character of Devi Sita, it was announced in November 2020 that Kriti Sanon had been cast in the film; four months later, on March 12, 2021, the creators confirmed her casting.
Lord Rama’s younger brother Lakshmana is played by Sunny Singh, who joined the set on February 23, 2021.
