The details for next week’s regular-season finale against Washington have been officially announced by the NFL. This game still has significant playoff implications.

NFL Announces Time For Dallas-Washington Game

FedEx Field will host the Commanders’ matchup on Sunday, at 3:25 PM CT. The Giants and Eagles will also play in Philly. If the Eagles win and improve to 14-3 they will win the NFC East title and the No. The NFC’s No. 1 seed. The Cowboys could still win the division if Washington defeats them and the Giants defeats the Eagles.

The Commanders were eliminated from playoff contention Sunday. However, the Giants still have a lot to play for next week. They secured the No. 6 seed in NFC playoff picture this week.

The Cowboys would be No. 1 if they didn’t win their division. Tampa Bay will face the 5th seed, having clinched NFC South on Sunday against the Panthers.

For Week 18, the NFL has changed its format. This gives all teams the opportunity to play the entire weekend.

The league can then decide the final week on the basis of the most interesting matchups. The league decided to play both the Cowboys/Commanders game and the Giants/Eagles game at the same.

The Cowboys will not be able to rest key players if they win the division. If the Eagles had defeated the Saints, many top players from Micah Parsons to Dak Prescott would have been able to rest for the final regular-season game.

This is unlikely with both divisional games starting at the same moment.

If the Cowboys won the NFC East, they could have a chance to get the No. With a loss by the Cardinals to the 49ers, the seed would be the No. If they advance, they would be guaranteed at home for the first and second weeks of the postseason.

For now, Washington must remain the focal point.
