Amber Heard Announces To Appeal Verdict

About her ex-husband Johnny Depp, Amber Heard still has some things to say.

The 36-year-old Aquaman bombshell said on Friday that she will appeal the finding that she had slandered Johnny Depp.

According to a Heard representative quoted by The Los Angeles Times, “You don’t ask for a pardon if you are innocent, as stated in yesterday’s congressional proceedings.” And if you are confident in your position, you won’t decline to appeal.

The news is the result of Johnny, 59, and Amber’s attorneys’ inability to reach a settlement prior to the entry of the final judgment.

The news wasn’t entirely unexpected because Amber’s spokeswoman has already stated that she intended to appeal the guilty decision against her on June 2.

The actress’s attorney, Elaine Charlson Bredehoft, acknowledged that she is unable to pay the $10 million fine issued on her for penning an opinion piece for The Washington Post in 2018 that, according to Johnny, strongly implied that he had abused her.

In the meanwhile, Savannah Guthrie and Amber had a two-part interview for Dateline that ended on June 17.

She revealed shocking details in it, including her continued love for her ex-husband and the “years” worth of therapy notes she claims show physical abuse.

My doctor, to whom I was reporting the abuse, took a binder full of records from the beginning of our relationship in 2011, when it all started, Heard said Savannah.

Despite the fact that Johnny sued her following his humiliating 2020 loss against The Sun in a UK court, she added that she hoped to keep moving forward.

Mr. Justice Nicol, who presided over the case, stated, “Taking all the evidence together, I accept that she was the victim of continuous and numerous attacks by Mr. Depp in Australia.”

Amber told Dateline, “I look forward to enjoying my life and I have a long one, I hope, ahead of me.

And I’ll keep keeping my head up as I go through this. According to reports, the actress is considering writing a book about the connection.
