The WhatsApp has added a new payment that features for the Android beta version of the app, which will be allowing the users to transfer the money through scanning QR codes. Let’s start with the new Scan QR Code option that is available on a WhatsApp version 2.18.93 through the Google Play Beta programme. The feature lets a user’s make the payments through scanning QR codes.
The WhatsApp Android beta users need to go to Settings > Payments > New Payments > Scan QR code. You will now direct to the QR code scanning option that will ask you to enter the amount that you wish to send, and it will also ask for UPI PIN for verification.
As yet another digital payments option in India, WhatsApp in February has launched its payments service in India in the beta for select Android smartphones as well as iPhones. Later it is adding the “Send to UPI ID” feature to make it easier for the users to directly send payments to a unique UPI IDs without going into the conversation threads.
However, the app is lacking the QR code payments feature which is present in the rival apps such as Paytm. Now, the latest Android beta version of the WhatsApp has introduced this feature.

The update is also including which is starring GIFs, as per the report. Similarly, another report says that the WhatsApp beta for the Android version 2.18.90 is bringing Search Stickers feature that allows the users to search stickers in the doodle view.
