North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un’s Wants That China Visit

After the six years of seclusion, the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un seems to want to get out and see the world.

Kim’s surprise summit with the Chinese President Xi Jinping this week is going to be the first time he is traveling outside of his country since he is assuming power in the year 2011, according to his state media. But Beijing is the starting of his ambitious coming out party.

Next is a meeting that is south of the Demilitarizing Zone with a South Korean President Moon Jae-in, then the trickiest meeting of all is with the President Donald Trump in an as yet to disclose the location. He is also rumoring to be considering a sit-down with Russia’s Minister Vladimir Putin, but one of his staunchest critics, the Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, says that he wants some face time, too.

Now, the question is Why the immediate plan for travel.

Here is a look at where the Kim’s is, where he may be heading to and what kind of the souvenirs he is hoping to gather along the way.

In hindsight, this is the exact choice for Kim’s international debut.

China is far and away the North’s most essential economic partner, and it has to tighten its sanctions in recent months to increase the pressure on Kim to ease up with his nuclear weapons program. The Kim has appeared less willing to toe Beijing’s line, however, and relations between the two countries which have suffering.

The sudden showing up in a China on Monday he completely changing that narrative.

The Two things are bright. Through hosting Kim before anyone else, Xi is very efficiently reasserting China’s primary role in defusing tensions on the Korean Peninsula, which has an extensive critical national security that is a concern for the Beijing. For Kim, meeting with a Xi first means he is going to his summits with the Moon and Trump better informing and less isolating.

More importantly for the Kim, the visit is a step toward persuading China to ease its sanctions, or at least how strictly they are enforcing. It is not knowing yet that what Kim and Xi are discussing.

The announcement that Kim and Moon have met face to face is the first shocking news of the year.

Kim is floating the idea through sending his invitation bearing sister to the opening ceremony of the Pyeongchang Olympics last month. The meeting is planning for the late April in a truce village inside the DMZ.

Symbolically, it is a massive step to forward. Moon and his liberal government have taken the initiative to reach out to the North after a year of escalating missile which is launching an angry rhetorical barrage. Kim is extending an olive branch of his own in January, vowing to make the improving relations on one of his top priorities for the year.

Until Kim is showing up in the Beijing, it is appearing that Moon is his first summit partner.

But that somewhat blurs the focus on the North-South detente, the emotional storyline of Korean nationalism and the hope of the reunification is still bound to play well with Kim’s domestic audience. North Korea is working on several development projects that are appearing which aiming at boosting the South Korean tourism to its east coast.

The Optimistic, yes. But it is working for a Pyongyang before.

This one is still has a lot of the question marks.

Necessary things, which is like when and where that is and some adding, – it will take place which has yet to be disclosing.

Instead of announcing it themselves, the White House is letting a visiting delegation from a South Korea to informing the media that Trump has agreed to Kim’s offer to meet through May. Almost nothing official has now announced since.

Kim’s father, Kim Jong Il, is playing that card nicely in the previous inter-Korea summits that are holding in the year 2000 and 2007.

Lots of potential sites have popped up in the rumor mill, from the Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida to Mongolia, which has good relations with the Pyongyang to an ancient castle in Sweden.

In return for the chance to standing shoulder to shoulder as an equal with the leader of the Free World, Kim may release the three Americans imprisoning through the North as a gesture of goodwill.

But a big question remains over one significant word that is denuclearization.

Kim has used it a lot recently, and some of the officials in a Washington have interpreted ending that to mean, he may be willing to negotiating away his costly and hard-won nuclear arsenal. But in another interpretation is that he expects a process that is involving all 30,000-plus U.S. troops that are permanently withdrawing from the South and a slew of security which guarantees to culminate in a peace treaty to end the year 1950 to 53 K formally.

That is what the North has demanded for decades.

A meeting between Kim and Putin seems to be a no-brainer.

Putin has relatively friendly with Kim’s regime and has actively trying to bolster the ties, despite the international sanctions.

The two countries are recently signing an agreement on cooperation in the scientific research, and it is discussing a new border bridge. The Russian media, meanwhile, are speculating that the North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho is planning to travel to a Moscow next month.

Better relations with the Moscow is benefit Kim tremendously.

The fall of the Soviet Union is a significant blow to the North, and it is a contributing factor behind a famine in the year the 1990s that are believing to have killed at least a hundreds of thousands of North Koreans. Ties have never the same since.

But along with the potential economic benefits, closer relationship with a Russia is essential as a balance against the Chinese influence and buffer against a Washington and its allies. Putin is undoubtedly wary of encouraging a nuclear-arm neighbor, cozying up with the Kim that is a way of thumbing his nose at the West.

And he did seeming to like doing that.

Tokyo is playing the catch-up.

Indulging in a domestic corruption scandal and prone to follow Washington’s lead, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has recently suggested he, too, wants to get in some quality time with a Kim.

Japan has significant problems with Pyongyang that go well beyond the nuclear issue.

Kim Jong Il is admitting in a summit in the year 2002 with the Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi that its agents have to abduct Japanese citizens in the years 1970 and 80. Several were returning, but Tokyo has since demanded more information and the dispute has become a bitter stalemate.

Abe, a North Korea hawk, is worrying Japan’s demands on the abduction issue that falls by the wayside but he is left out in the cold while Kim meets the other leaders.

The cost is excessively high, however.

In return for normalizing relations, Pyongyang will likely to demand Japan to pay more for the damage which is causing through its years 1910 to 1945 colonization of the Korean Peninsula.

Some experts have speculated the bill is running into the billions of dollars.

So, these are the points on describing North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un’s, who wants that China visit may be the start of his world travels.
