A research team from a Japan is recently publishing a study that is examining the effects of knee pain on the depression since, until now, few studies have to focus on how the knee pain and impairing knee function is relating to depression.

For the study, the team of the researchers examining information from around 573 people in the age groups of 65 or older who are participating in the Kurabuchi Study, an ongoing look at the health of the older adults living in a central Japan.

At the end of the study, nearly 12 percent of the participants have developing symptoms of depression. The People who are experiencing knee pain at night while in a bed, while putting on the socks, or while getting in or out of a car were more likely to report to having symptoms of the depression.
